It is especially awful to not be able to sleep. Ugh.
However, in an effort to bolster your courage (and foster a better night's sleep in the future?) I have compiled a short list of friendly, nice-looking bugs.
A lady bug is always genteel and very non-scary.
sometimes children like bugs....so they can't be all bad, right?
If all else fails, ask yourself this question: "Was the bug scary, or was it merely trying to show me it's new boots?"

hmmm, i never thought that the bug could have just been soliciting my fashion sense . . . good thing i didn't actually kill it . . .
next time i see a tiny uninvited guest i will check out what it is wearing before i grab the bug spray and large book.
