thesis dance!!

So, as I'm procrastinating from writing several important things for my job, I thought it appropo to look up random images associated with creativity...one that kept coming up was a light bulb, but with a gold fish inside...

I think it's an intriguing image, and then of course there's the image of the ice berg...mysterious and subversive.

Also, I had a brainstorm about our next travel project. Of course, it has to be asia, since we have contacts there...but it should be our reward to ourselves for our "real jobs". (which we will both have in the next few years, I know it!) That way, saving will be easier, and it will be celebratory (you know my penchant for purpose...) So, what do you think?

i have not been keeping up the blog!! and i'm gonna guess it's gonna suffer over the next month or so . . .
can't imagine you'll write much while you're in a secluded cabin (can't imagine there'll be wifi).

i'm almost all packed for nicole/MI/wedding/familypalloza .

i really can't wait for things to settle down (i'm guessing you share this sentiment). it has just been such a busy summer and (at least for me) there has been a lack of stability--i mean it feels sorta sandy. so many things have been shifting and changing (job, home, family, work, friends, earth). you know i have some difficulty with changes--not that i don't want them to happen (common misconception) but that it just takes me a little time to get my head into them (must always understand everything) and get my feet moving with them.

anywho, not sure what my point is but now i must get back to my thesis--always one more thing to finish and one more thing to start.
